Pinova WiFi product series

Pinova WiFi is a series of weather stations of various models, intended for professional farmers, scientific institutions and agricultural advisors. Weather stations are practical, reliable and robust and come in various combinations of quality sensors. Their practical application is reflected in fruit, vine, cereal and greenhouse production.

Pinova Wifi weather station connects via WiFi to the server, which increases its reliability. The basis of all stations are:

1. Central unit with communication module

2. 3.7 V battery

3. Station carrier (Inox)

4. Solar panel

5. Sensors (Sensors depend on the device model)

6. Computer software - PinovaSoft (desktop)

7. Mobile software - PinovaMobile

Depending on the model, the devices can measure

1. Air temperature (°C)
2. Relative humidity (%)
3. Precipitation (mm / m²)
4. Presence of moisture on the leaf (%)
5. Temperatures in the plant zone (°C)
6. Soil temperature (°C)
7. Soil moisture (cb)
8. Dew Point (calculation) (°C)
9. Evapotranspiration (calculation) (mm / m²)

Maximum number of sensors per station: 3

Pinova Wifi stations have two modes of operation, ONLINE and OFFLINE. The user decides how the device will work.

Pinova Wifi station is fully automatic, which means that the user does not have to come to it to collect data. During the day, the station receives electricity through a solar panel, while at night it works on batteries that are charged during the day. The Pin Wifi station continuously collects data every 10 minutes and sends it every 10 via a Wifi connection (it is connected to your router).

The station in OFFLINE mode takes samples every 10 minutes and stores the data in its internal memory. To transfer data to the server, the user must approach the device and transfer the data to the server via the application on the mobile phone.

Agricultural production depends mostly on weather conditions, it is constantly influenced by precipitation, temperature, wind, solar radiation, relative humidity, soil moisture, etc. Accordingly, you may many time ask  following questions...

  1. Is the temperature and relative humidity of the air suitable for plant protection?
  2. What was the minimum temperature this night?
  3. How high is the temperature sum (degree day) on this day?
  4. When did it rain last Night or week?
  5. And how much?
  6. Did the rain fall in the orchard or only at my home?
  7. Can I enter the plantation with mechanization with respect to precipitation?
  8. How many precipitations have fallen in the last 30 days or throughout the current year?
  9. Is the soil frozen? if yes, to what depth?
  10. How long is the leaf wet and is there any chance for disease infection?
  11. Considering the moment of plant infection which fungicide will I use, contact or systemic?
  12. What is the humidity of the soil at 40 cm?
  13. How deep the precipitation entered the soil?
  14. Do I need to irrigate and with what amount of water?

Many answers to the questions raised above affect the planning and implementation of agrotechnical operations. If the wrong decision is made, it will have a negative impact on the quality and quantity of the end product. With correct decision, you perform more precisely which means you save raw materials, time and energy, which leads to savings in money and reduced pressure of agriculture on the environment.

Agriculture weather station is used by fruit growers, vine growers, vegetable growers, nursery growers and cereals producers , regardless of whether it is bio, integrated or conventional production. Disease models are of great help while planning  plant protection.

Agricultural Faculties and Institutes without information on micro climate conditions would not be able to conduct their field research. Except for the purpose of researching the agrometeorological station and its data are of great help in the education of students.

Pesticide producers  also need data on micro climatic parameters when testing their products and consulting their clients.

For private advisors and state advisory services, it is essential to have measured meteorological data, so they can issue warnings and advise their users when and with what to go in plant protection.
