About us

Pinova d.o.o. is a technology company established as a result of our extensive experience in agriculture. Founded in 2010 in Čakovec, Croatia, its primary goal is to create and develop modern agricultural technologies that directly influence the quality and yields of agricultural production. Our projects encompass various types of agricultural production, including fruit growing, viticulture and winemaking, vegetable cultivation, and crop farming.

Through years of fieldwork in agriculture, we encountered daily challenges faced by many producers. Leveraging this experience and knowledge, we developed:

• The PinovaMeteo Agrometeorological Station, which measures, collects, and transmits microclimatic data. It integrates over 10 of the most important sensors for agriculture.
• Software for reviewing measured data.
• Algorithms for plant disease models, calculated based on measured data.
• An algorithm for calculating evapotranspiration, temperature sums, and more.

We believe the future development of agriculture lies in integration with Information Technology (IT). By collecting more precise and reliable information, farmers can make better-informed decisions regarding:

• Production technologies
• Use of resources (pesticides, irrigation water, fertilizers, etc.)
• Production and business organization

Analyzing and comparing multi-year parameters obtained from plots leads to increasingly effective, evidence-based, and optimal use of resources. This, in turn, enhances both the quality and quantity of agricultural products while preserving the environment and biodiversity.
